From Miriam’s Director’s Desk:
I would like to take the time to thank all of the Key Women, for all of their support. We were in desperate need of cot sheets for the children’s beds and the Key Women hand made us 60 sheets within weeks of us asking for their help. We were blessed even more abundantly when they made 90 Easer baskets for the children, their siblings, and staff with small children. Your dedication and
support is greatly appreciated as you continue to show your faithfulness to our childcare center.
I would also like to thank other donors of our childcare facility; Ms. Nora Campbell, Executive Director of Shelby County “Books from Birth.” they donated books for each of our classrooms to help build our literacy program and, Ms. Nancy Blake, the manager and owner of Chocolate Soup Children’s Clothing Store (http://www.chocolatesoup.net/). in Germantown. Chocolate Soup donated clothing for our infants and toddlers. Having the heart to provide help to keep our children literate, neat and learning makes a lasting and perpetual difference in the welfare of the community and the city.
It is very important for us to have dedicated people sharing their resources and time to broaden the experience and opportunities in the lives of our children, families and, staff. We gratefully accept donations of all types that will help improve the quality of care we provide here at the Miriam Child Development Center.
