The Key Women’s Awareness Day

Awareness Day 2013 was hosted by Germantown United Methodist Woman at Germantown UMC.  This yearly luncheon is an opportunity for the Key Woman to fellowship together and raise awareness of the UMNC and mission work within Memphis with which it is associated.  This years speaker was Peter Abell the executive director of Books from Birth of Shelby County.  The ladies provided a wonderful salad lunch that is a hit every year for awareness day.  The Pre-K children from Miriam Child Development Center sang “Jesus Loves Me” and “This Little Light of Mine” for the entertainment.   This year the Key Woman had a “boutique” to raise some money for the UMNC.  Thank you ladies for all your hard work and a wonderful luncheon.
