Welcoming a New Child Care Director

Jeremiah 29:11 :- For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Iletha Robinson joined the UMNC staff as the Director of the Miriam Child Development Center in November of 2012. She comes to us from New Glory Preparatory School and has already settled nicely into her new home at Miriam. She is a member of the 100 Black women of Memphis and an active member of her church. She is also a member of National Association for Education of Young children (NAEYC) and its Memphis association MAEYC. Ms. Robinson has already begun revitalizing the parent association and continuing to support and advocate for our children. This month’s Donuts for Dad was a success and we are looking forward to a Muffins with Moms next month. Feel Free to come to the Miriam open house on Friday March 1st, 2013 at 7:30 pm to meeting Ms. Robinson and catch up on what is new at Miriam.
